It's always about Tron.

Okay, I know it may seem ridiculous to pay this much for a set of Blu-ray disc's. Especially when that set has a 3d disc that I can't even use, but I HAD to have the identity disc set. Amazon also claims that by selecting the free 2 day shipping (I am a Prime member) that I will get it on release day.

I personally considered this to be a must have. If you are thinking of buying it, please consider purchasing through my link, I will get a few bucks for it through Amazon's referral service. It is only available as a pre-order now until April 5 which is the official release date.

Well, to summarize.

I am currently working on the graphical overhaul of a rather awesome webgame.

It is called "The Farplane Wars" its pretty neat, I actually played the game a while back and I really loved it, I reached out to the developer just to tell him how much I liked it, I mentioned that if he was ever working on any new projects I would like to be involved. I didn't even know what I was offering but I wanted to do something.

The game itself is a space themed strategy game. You choose your responses to determine your outcome. There is also a mixed element of scrolling shooter, colony management and ship upgrades. Something about it really made me like it, it just grabbed my interest from the beginning and never let go, despite the sub par visual work. Now it will receive an overhaul from yours truly. Which should be the equivalent of me scribbling some geometry and adding cannons to it.

No, I kid.

Anyway, the funny part is that after I started working on it I was looking up some stuff from the author and realized that he was the dude who wrote one of the best roll your own adventure zombie game I had ever played, "After the End" if you ever played it you know what I mean.

Then it all made sense why the story for Farplane wrapped me up so well. The guy knows how to tell a story.

The ratings for the games over at Newgrounds are strange, it seems that the comment scores are great but overall it is a little disappointing. I am linking both games at newgrounds. Play them, don't play them, rate them, don't rate them. Just don't waste your day jacking off to the Sims.

One of the pitfalls of dying is that it often puts me out of commission for afew days at a time and then I can't update as regularly as I like.

At some point you will see that I haven't updated in months or even years and it will be because I have died, and the world will have barely noticed.

The smarter I get, the more abysmal everything around me becomes. Rather, I should say, the more the already dismal world reveals itself to be.

It is hard to feel intelligent when I regularly struggle with just trying to fit in with humanity. I feel like I should know how to do it.

I remember the first time I saw this. I made everyone watch it. Now, years later, I share it with you just in case you haven't seen it.

3 Days

was the morning.

Actually, that's how much of my life I have now wasted trying to troubleshoot and fix my eyefinity triple monitor setup. You see a few months back I was bouncing back and forth between grouped monitors and non. Loved it. Massive 5040 x 1050 gaming and then split three single monitors for applications, this was important as a browser window maximized to 3 monitors isn't as fun as it sounds, especially when you try to open more then one and move them between windows.

Yet it all came to a devastating and abrupt halt about 2 months ago when I reinstalled my OS onto an SSD boot drive. You see, I figured that ATI had done something to the drivers and it was just fucking with my chi. But after a revision or two didn't fix anything I began to get irritated.

Now, no matter what I tried all I could do was group 2 monitors and leave the third as a standalone. this did not please me at all. I wanted things exactly the way they used to be.

I fear change.

Anywho. to make matters worse, when I activated crossfireX I lost one monitor. In hindsight that should have been a dead giveaway but I suppose at the time I was blinded by pure rage.

I searched the web, sought counsel on forums, even shot off a semi passive aggressive tech support request to ATI. "I am the customer, I demand immediate satisfaction,  Requiem in terra pax and so forth..."

Those bastards still haven't contacted me.

Which is probably for the best. You see. When eyefinity groups monitors it can only do it across a single gpu. Something I knew. Also, for the uninitiated, crossfire in its simplest form is the use of a second gpu to handle alternating processing of "video stuff" two cards act as one, utilizing only one cards output but both gpu's.

So, if one were to say, hook up their third monitor to the second video card when they reassembled their pc they may find that when crossfire is enabled, it will shut down the output of that card.

sound familiar yet.

It would also prevent that monitor from being added to an eyefinity group...

hmmm.

Where is my love song?

I was supposed to make someone fall in love with me. Songs were to have been written about me, recalling the torment of love not reciprocated.

I have been broken all my life. No one was attracted to my damage and nursed me back to health.

I have been artistic all my life. No one saw my dark side and was drawn closer.

I have been intelligent all my life. No one saw the beauty of the tortured genius trying to fit in.



It is no wonder I have been driven to this.
